Kat Odell, bJulian O’Dell, the beloved wife of renowned real estate trainer and EYE contributor Julian O’Dell, has sadly passed away after a 12-year battle with cancer.
Cat was also Julian’s partner at Catfest, a special annual fundraising event that raised over £200,000 for cancer charities.
Catfest is supported by many of Julian’s real estate agency clients and industry suppliers, including Kerfuffle, Agency Express and EYE.
Julian said, “As a family, we are heartbroken but moving forward every day. Cat has been my soulmate for 36 years. She is also the best real estate agent I have ever worked with.” She has been a driving force behind Thomas Morris for over 20 years, and many of her former employees have sent great messages showing that she was the best agency boss she ever worked for. Many female staff saw her as a role model given her success as a woman in a male-dominated environment.
“Catfest was something she was proud of and will be back in 2023 as a tribute to her. I know she is there in spirit.
Julian would also like to thank her corporate clients and people in the real estate industry for their messages of support, letters, cards and flowers. With a sizeable turnout, the church in Salford, Bedfordshire was full and the surplus live stream at the village hall could not accommodate everyone who wanted to attend.
Julian is taking a break until it’s the right time to resume business.
