Effective February 1, 2023, Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has been appointed as Xero’s new CEO. Xero is a 3.5 million subscriber global small business platform that includes core accounting solutions, payroll, workforce management, expenses and projects.
Cassidy succeeds Steve Vamos, who will step down from the role after nearly five years as CEO and return to his previous portfolio in business coaching and leadership development as an advisor, director, and investor.
