Kanye West, now officially known as Ye, is looking to acquire conservative social media company Parler.
In an interview at Yahoo Finance’s All Markets Summit on Monday, former Trump adviser Gary Cohn said Ye’s recent offensive posts were “completely unacceptable.”

“In this day and age, in the world we live in, it is unacceptable for people in leadership positions with such big platforms and such big microphones to make such comments.”
West appears to justify the acquisition of Parlor as a move to defend free speech, saying in a statement:
George Farmer, CEO of Parlement Technologies, wrote: Ye is making a breakthrough move in the free speech media space and never has to fear being removed from social media again. ”
Last week, Twitter (TWTR) and Meta (META) removed Kanye West’s post for violating company policy. In one Instagram-deleted post, Ye suggested that rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was controlled by Jews.
A few hours later, Ye tweeted that he was going to “JEWISH PEOPLE’s Descon 3”, which was quickly deleted by Twitter.
