For small businesses, schools are now open – and tick tock It’s a classroom.
The buzz app is a marketing hotbed and we want to enable our partners to tap into that potential.That’s why we launched TikTok Academya self-service learning platform for brands and agencies.
At launch, TikTok Academy will have two curricula.of Tik Tok 101 The course “includes a global overview of our product offering, how to keep the platform safe for brands, creative best practices, and what makes TikTok unique,” the blog post said. The course is designed to take 2-4 hours to complete and the knowledge imparted is fairly basic. Some questions are very simple and can be answered by simply recognizing a few TikTok accounts.

Marketers looking for more specific advice can check out the Small Business Course, which is divided into four 15-minute sections. Additional courses on commerce will be added to TikTok Academy “soon.”
TikTok Academy uses a gamified structure similar to other learning apps like Duolingo. Participants who complete the course will be awarded a badge that can be displayed on their profile.
“Through the TikTok Academy, we will help teams become TikTok savvy marketers by providing not just TikTok ‘how-tos’, but the critical insights that enable media and creative excellence on the platform.” We aim to provide powerful learning opportunities for blog post. “We know the TikTok community likes to engage with their favorite brands, so we want to give them the tools and expertise to maintain this unique and engaging experience.”
This isn’t the first time TikTok has entered the small business community. Earlier this year, the app launched Follow Me, his six-week initiative that pairs curious brand reps with small business owners who are already successful on social media. Brands that haven’t yet jumped on the TikTok bandwagon may want to jump on the bandwagon in the near future. Several upcoming ad formats announced at Advertising Week will allow for more granular targeting on the ByteDance-owned platform. Marketers have the potential to achieve greater profits than ever before. Academy graduates will have the upper hand.
