Dell Technologies has quietly acquired Israeli startup Cloudify to boost its DevOps, cloud native and infrastructure automation capabilities.

Dell Acquires Cloudify for DevOps Expansion
“Dell Technologies has announced that it has completed its acquisition of Cloudify,” a Dell spokesperson said of the transaction. “This transaction allows Dell to continue innovating in Edge products.”
The acquisition strengthens Dell’s Cloudify DevOps, cloud-native, and infrastructure automation capabilities. Cloudify’s platform pitch enables DevOps engineers to more easily integrate, automate, and manage a product portfolio that includes tools like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Azure, ARM, TOSCA, and more.
Dell ARR Growth
- Recurring revenues were about $5.4 billion, up 11% year-over-year.
- Overall revenues of $24.7 billion decreased 6% year-over-year.
- Record operating income of $1.8 billion — a 68% increase compared to the second quarter of fiscal 2022.
- Areas of strength include servers and networking ($5.2 billion, up 14%) and storage ($4.4 billion, up 11%).
- The weak spot was PC, where revenue fell 17% to $13.8 billion.
