Modern media technology in the hands of the far right and fascists allows them to influence tens of millions in cult-like ways. It strengthens the mass MAGA base seen in the 70 million votes won by Trump, which includes millions of mostly white working-class people.
As a result, the information bubble creates an entirely different perceived reality and fuels political polarization. Extreme right-wing and fascist movements are using social media to overtly interfere in US internal affairs on the side of MAGA fascism.
