Many homes in the area had undergone similar changes, but Gillespie said vendors often kept them.

“There are very few homes completed like this in Goodwood,” said Gillespie, who sells the property with Danny Diesel Federsen.

“The house is a family home with a swimming pool and an outdoor entertainment area in the back.”

Gillespie, who lives and sells in the area, said the owner purchased the property in July 2021 but was selling it to scale.

They bought it for $1.9 million, according to property records.

Gillespie had already taken a keen interest in the house before it was opened to the public.

“We have so many interests,” he said.

Of the home’s modern features, Gillespie said its location and position on a quiet street attracts house hunters.
