BMT Aerospace wants to honor 50 years of cooperation with its American partners

BMT Aerospace manufactures approximately 140,000 state-of-the-art equipment annually for mayoral officials around the world, including Pratt & Whitney, General Electric Honeywell, Airbus, Sikorsky and Safran.

Today, BMT Aerospace would like to join President Jean Jambon in honoring 50 years of cooperation with our American partners on several of our strategic aerospace programs.

BMT Aerospace is one of the lesser-known companies that has put Flanders on the international map. In 2022, the US was the largest investor in Flanders, with his 56 investment projects representing 2,200 jobs. The US accounts for her 20% of foreign investments in Flanders. Thanks to companies like BMT Aerospace, the US and Flanders are working closely together.
Flanders accounts for 2% of world trade by land, sea and air. This takes the company to his 15th place in the world. The aerospace industry plays a very important role in the Flemish export economy. ”

The company has been a key supplier to several military programs that contribute to everyday safety and security, including the F35 Joint Strike Fighter, the F22 Raptor, the famous F15 Eagle and F16 Fighter Falcon, and has been in use for over 50 years. Also Black Hawk and Apache helicopters.
