The Apex program provides a path to professional success in underserved communities with accessible cybersecurity training and resources
WICHITA, Kansas, Jan. 31, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Driven by a mission to advance accessibility and inclusion for blind, visually impaired and veterans, Novacoast announces launch of Apex program Did. The program will provide new opportunities for these underserved communities, while producing trained and certified candidates for industries in need. To date, the global cybersecurity workforce shortage is his 3.4 million professionals.
The Apex program helps students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in cybersecurity, including preparation for the CompTIA A+ and Security+ certification exam series. The Apex program is his CompTIA partner.
The 10-week program is designed to be accessible to IT professionals who have navigated the BVI and veteran realities as part of a cybersecurity workforce. Each week follows a defined course schedule, focusing on core areas of IT security.
Because every student learns differently, the Apex program takes a multimodal approach to teaching. Basic cybersecurity topics are explored through informative lectures and video tutorials, and students can actively test their knowledge with hands-on her labs and quizzes. Students have access to expert instructors for additional guidance and support at each stage of their journey into the Apex program.
The Apex program’s goals go beyond basic cybersecurity training to address the professional placement of its graduates. “This is a complete approach to technical training that reflects the standards we set at Novacoast,” said Paul Anderson, CEO of Novacoast. Anderson explains:
