The Expert Assessment Committee (EAC) of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF) has recommended a proposal to grant a Coastal Control Zone (CRZ) Permit for the construction of a 20 km wide, 4-lane, Rs 572.1 crore flyover. bottom. From Chennai Port to Maduraboyar.

Excavated material should not be dumped into bodies of water or adjacent areas. After the completion of the corridor, it will be restored to its original state.
Temporary structures lifted for construction activities on land, in intertidal zones, and in streams must be removed within one month of completion of the construction activity.
