Citi has added Leading Hotels of the World as a transfer partner, meaning select Citi cardholders can now indirectly book stays at hundreds of unique five-star hotels using ThankYou Points.
We say indirectly because you’ll still need to transfer ThankYou Points to Leaders Club first, which is LHW’s free-to-join guest loyalty program.
What Is Leading Hotels of the World?
Leading Hotels of the World is a collection of over 400 independently-owned luxury hotels in 80 countries. Originally founded in 1928, the list comprises five-star properties led by “visionary” hoteliers that offer “uncommon experiences” for guests.
LHW doesn’t publish its precise criteria for qualification (in fact, its application for hotels is rather short), but suffice to say anyone staying at an LHW property is in for a unique and high-class experience.
