The 2022 Big Data 100 is CRN’s annual ranking of the leading big data technology vendors that solution providers should know about.

Data is not just for processing transactions. Businesses and organizations today understand that data is a strategic asset in the same class as people and financial capital. Data is not only necessary to run day-to-day operations, it is also key to major initiatives such as digital transformation. Effectively managing, analyzing, and using data also unlocks intelligence and insights that lead to new opportunities and competitive advantage.

The problem is that managing and analyzing data has become a more complex task. According to market research firm IDC, the total amount of data created and replicated worldwide will reach 64.2 zettabytes in 2020 and is projected to grow to 181 zettabytes by 2025, at a CAGR of 23%.
