Can I travel to the Philippines?
Yes, if you are vaccinated against Covid-19. The Philippines will allow entry of fully vaccinated visitors from authorized visa-free travel.including the United States
Fully vaccinated travelers are no longer subject to quarantine upon arrival. However, pre-arrival testing is still required.
Unvaccinated travelers should be quarantined in government facilities until they test negative by RT-PCR on day 5. After that, you will have to quarantine at home for up to 14 days.
Additionally, visa-free travelers must have a valid ticket to leave the country within 30 days of arrival and a passport valid for at least six months after arrival. You must also provide proof of travel insurance Covers Covid treatment with a minimum coverage of $35,000.

Testing and vaccination requirements to enter the Philippines
Travelers must prove immunizations and negative RT-PCR results from tests taken within 48 hours of departure from their country of origin. We also accept negative antigen test within 24 hours. The country also requires people to self-monitor for symptoms for 7 days after arrival. If you experience symptoms in the country, you should report them to your local authorities.
Proof of vaccination includes one of the following documents:
- World Health Organization International Immunization Certificate
- VaxCertPH
- National or state digital certificates of countries/foreign governments that have approved VaxCertPH under reciprocal agreements
- Other IATF-approved vaccination certificates

Testing and vaccination requirements to enter the United States
As of June 12, US citizens returning to the US from the Philippines are no longer required to submit a negative Covid-19 test result to return. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has lifted a previous requirement that a traveler had to provide documentation of her negative Covid test or recovery to re-enter the United States.
However, even if you are not a U.S. citizen or have an immigrant visa, you must show proof of vaccination to fly to the U.S. from the Philippines.

Other important things to know
Government orders require face masks to be worn in all public spaces. Face shields are mandatory in medical and quarantine facilities. These are also required during Alert Level 5, Enhanced Community Quarantine, and Detailed Lockdown. There are currently no areas in the Philippines with Alert Level 5. Local governments may also impose additional measures to slow the spread of Covid.
