Cool Cats co-founder Evan Luza said: Excited to contribute! After helping Bitccoin.com rebrand, I’m back to advise Verse. Cool Cats is a collection of 9,999 cats based on the Blue Cat that one of my best friends and co-founders, Colin Egan, has been developing since high school. Our brand celebrates inclusivity and individuality, and aims to remain a welcoming space for all. Evan: Growing up with Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, I was constantly exposed to collectibles and traded them with friends. This led to the market opportunities we identified in the NFT space.

flat: Having been heavily involved in Bitcoin.com’s rebranding in my previous team as a product designer, I’m excited to come full circle this time around and provide some insight into our NFT-centric focus. Bitcoin.com is uniquely positioned to have a large audience centered around cryptocurrencies, facilitating greater adoption and awareness of NFTs and their innovative solutions and impact. At the same time, we believe that NFTs will be a strong draw for newcomers to cryptocurrencies, empowering those who may not necessarily be financially interested with the knowledge and tools they need to reap the benefits of DeFi.
Alex: What NFT utilities/use cases are you excited about?
Evan: So far, the biggest use case for NFTs is around community building. On the surface it may look like this: just cool artwork, A group of people coming together on a concept or a way of thinking is really powerful, and it goes far beyond just creating a brand.

Evan: Authenticity, originality, innovation, and the ability to pivot and change trajectory as the continuously evolving Web3 landscape changes. Today’s parameters and variables are different than tomorrow’s. It’s healthy to be experimental, and of course to keep a healthy pulse on community sentiment every step of the way.
Alex: What, if any, developments in blockchain technology are critical to mainstream NFT adoption?
Evan: Security, ease of use, low transaction fees, transaction speed and user experience are top priorities.
Alex: What important lessons did you learn from your experience making Cool Cats?
Evan: It’s all about community. It’s impossible to keep everyone happy all the time, but establishing healthy and consistent lines of communication with your community to continually check your feelings and ideas about what, why, and how you’re building is very important. important to You are growing your brand.
