The Community Behavioral Health Collaborative works to increase access to clinical/therapeutic mental health services and to facilitate an increase in the number of qualified clinical mental health professionals, especially at the master’s and doctoral levels.
Collaborative strives to:
- Match a variety of Behavioral Health Masters with PhD-level graduate students and/or postgraduate interns [e.g., MFT, CPC, NP-P, MSW, LCADC, PSYCH, MED] Dispatch qualified clinical supervisors to non-profit human service organizations with the purpose of serving those most in need.
- Facilitate exposure of interns to such institutions in order to increase recruitment and retention rates, in order to increase the workforce of qualified clinical supervisors.
- Coordinate regular graduate-level behavioral problem training program meetings to maximize collaboration.
