October 21, 2022 ~ An unnamed political action committee with an address in Granite Bay, located on Folsom Lake east of Sacramento, voted in the Orange City Council election against Dancerer, who is running for mayor. Atlas PAC (FPPC ID#1279586) has raised over $140,000 since July 2021 and is now directing its resources to Slater and Gladson.
One of the largest donations came from auto giant David Wilson Auto Group (owners of Toyota of Orange and Ford of Orange), which recently donated $20,000 to PAC.
This week, two fraudulent mailers targeting Slater and Gladson attacked Orange’s mailbox. These were mailed by Atlas and partially funded by the David Wilson Auto Group.
Conflicts of interest are pervasive in Wilson’s donation. A source told his HMG-CN that the wife of current Orange Mayor Mark Murphy runs the Wilson Group.
Additionally, the same source told HMG-CN that the dealer group owns multiple properties along the North Tustin Corridor, including Orange’s Village Mall. Earlier this year, the Orange City Council attempted to rezoning the property to allow for high-density apartments. Following public outcry, the plan was temporarily put on hold.
Atlas received nearly $38,000, the majority of which, $25,000, came from F&F Capital Group, an LLC registered in Delaware with an Irvine address, according to campaign funding documents through June 2021. did.
By the end of 2021, Atlas has received an additional $15,000 from Los Alamitos-based Allred Trust. The Allred family owns the Los Alamitos Racecourse.
Just seven days ago, Atlas reported mass mailing costs of $6,000 against Adrienne Gladson and nearly $13,000 against Dan Slater.

According to further documents, the orange mailbox could soon be flooded with media.
PAC has received a whopping $110,000 in funding since late September, according to Atlas’ recent donation report.
$24,000 from Irvine-based Fieldstead & Co.; Funded by Howard, Roberta and their son his David Ahmanson.
$20,000 from Wilson Auto Group
$20,000 from Prime Healthcare in Ontario
$10,500 from Attorney Sean Steele of Seal Beach
$10,000 from Burrtec Waste Industries in Fontana
$9,900 from Wichita, Kansas-based Clark Investment Group; The company’s website shows it owns properties ranging from a storage center in Connecticut to a drive-thru car wash in Costa Mesa.
FPPC rules require that if Atlas receives or spends more than $1,000, it must file a late spending report, known as the 496 form, within 24 hours.
The same rule applies to Slater and Gladson.
