Delta CEO Ed Bastian resumes his one-on-one discussion series with another conversation worth navigating. Gaining Altitude’s first season ended on a high note, but don’t worry. There is more to come.
Bastian launched the series in the depths of the pandemic. Inspired by a company-wide employee town hall focused on issues of race and equity after the murder of George Floyd, Gaining Altitude reaches a broad audience of Delta customers, employees, media and the general public. It features influential guests who you can speak to.
The series navigates important and sometimes difficult conversations on topics important to our world, including servant leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, mental health and diversity, equity and inclusion.
“Each guest has inspired me, from sustainability to education to guidance to where they want to go and everything in between. But there’s always so much to learn from each other,” Bastian said. I wrote it in a social media post.
Bastian announced that the series would return for a second season later this year. Please stay tuned for further details.
