another autumn means another autumn Long Island Restaurant WeekThis time it will be held from November 6th to November 13th and will feature a number of East End restaurants.

The concept behind the campaign is to offer a two-course $22 lunch and/or three-course $27, $37, or $44 dinner prix fixe menu every day the restaurant is open, Sunday through Sunday.May only be served until 7pm

The East End hosts a number of wine events this fall. Southold Socialoffers a special wine dinner every Thursday.James Beard Award Winner Chef Francois Paillard His team meticulously selected wines from local North and South Fork wineries for dinner.

Each week, the dishes are carefully selected to pair perfectly with the local wines. The region is particularly lenient for winemaking as it is completely surrounded by water and the winds and sea temperatures are perfect for wine. The fall harvest season is a great time to discover local bottling.

After 43 years in business in Southampton Village, Schmidt’s Market Dennis and Dan Schmidt, the father-son duo who manage the market, were informed by the property owner earlier this year that the property would be put on the market.
