The annual expo has grown into one of the world’s largest and most successful aviation events as it prepares to celebrate its 49th anniversary in 2023.
MIAMI, Fla., United States, Jan. 30, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ — The E3 Aviation Association today announced it will be the new title sponsor of the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. The event is Florida’s largest annual convention of any kind, with more than 200,000 visitors flocking to Lakeland each year for what has become known as the aviation season opener or pilots’ spring break. .
SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that sells and supports dozens of events throughout the year, including the Aerospace Expo. Proceeds from these events are the primary source of funding for the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE). ACE is nationally recognized as a leader in STEM-related and aerospace education through its various learning centers, outreach programs, scholarships and purpose-built summer camps. Attract, educate and accelerate the next generation of aerospace professionals.
In addition to SUN ‘n FUN, ACE is home to the Florida Aviation Museum, Florida’s official aviation museum and education center, and the Lakeland Aero Club, the nation’s largest high school flying club. ACE is the world leader in producing licensed teenage private his pilots, offering youth programs to over 50,000 students annually.
