There are still spots left for restaurants, chefs, and other food-related vendors to attend the Wine & Food Experience at the Camarillo Hangar on November 12th.
Hosted by USA TODAY, the parent company of Ventura County Star, the event will feature light snacks from local eateries and beverages from breweries, distilleries and vineyards. The festival at Camarillo Airport takes place in the hangar at 455 Aviation Drive from 1-4pm.
Graham Harris of Thousand Oak’s farm-to-table decker kitchen and Yukari Watanabe of Ventura’s Gotetsu, which serves small Japanese dishes, among other local chefs, have already signed up.
The festival serves as a grand tour of the culinary scene in Ventura County and beyond. This experience is part of his 7 city tour with stops in Indianapolis. Louisville, Kentucky. Asheville, North Carolina. Tampa and Paradise Coast in Florida. Palm Springs, Ventura County, California. The festival celebrates the best chefs, wine and food in each participating USA TODAY NETWORK community.
VIP tickets for one hour early entry are $100, and general admission to the festival is $65. Tickets can be purchased online at wineandfood.usatoday.com/events/ventura. Prices will increase on the day of the event.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the local food bank, Food Share Ventura County, a non-profit organization based in Oxnard.
