Gautam Adani’s net worth has fallen by $22 billion since the report’s publication, down nearly 20%. Gautam Adani’s current net worth is just below his $93 billion after Adani Group’s stock price plummeted. Group companies Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy and NDTV Ltd have fallen more than 50% from their 52-week highs. Other companies in the Adani Group, including Adani Power, Adani Wilmar and Adani Port, have fallen more than 40-50% from their 52-week highs. Newly acquired ACC and Ambuja are also down more than 30% from their highs, while Adani Total Gas is down 27% from its 52-week high.
However, most of the decline was the result of a report by Hindenberg Research, which showed all Adani stocks sharply lower on Friday. Stock trading also soared. Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises were the top losers at Friday’s Nifty 50.
