Beyoncé announced the dates of her long-awaited ‘Renaissance’ world tour this morning to kick off Black History Month.
According to Vivid Seats, the average ticket price for Beyoncé’s final solo tour, the “Formation” tour, was $207 per ticket. BeyHive loyal members (myself included) started saving tickets as soon as her Queen Bey dropped “Renaissance” on July 29, 2022.
There are several options for getting tickets early.
All three options use Live Nation’s Verified Fan service and exclude buyers looking to resell their tickets. Participate in a drawing process and be notified by text and email if selected. While tickets aren’t guaranteed using the three options above, you’ll have a chance to get your hands on the coveted Beyoncé tickets before anyone else.
Here we focus on the rewards and perks that come with each card. These cards are worthless if you are paying interest or late fees. When using a credit card, it is important to pay the balance in full each month, make payments on time, and only spend what you can afford.

Citi Verified Fan Registration requires the first 6 digits of your Citi credit or debit card. Registration does not guarantee a ticket. Fans will be randomly selected in a lottery-style process to gain access to advance tickets.
Fans will be notified approximately five days after registration closes for each group if they are selected for early access to Beyoncé tickets, according to Citi Entertainment’s website.
If selected, purchase requires a Citi credit or debit card. Sale dates are as follows:
- Group A: Tuesday 7th February from 10am to Wednesday 8th February at 6pm
- Group B: Tuesday, February 14th from 10:00 am to Wednesday, February 15th at 6:00 pm
- Group C: Tuesday, February 21st from 10:00 am to Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:00 pm
It’s never too late to open your Citi credit card to access Beyoncé presales
If you don’t have a Citi card, you can still apply online to access advance tickets. Some Citi credit cards allow you to request immediate access to temporary card information upon authorization. You can use it to participate in the presale. These include:
The temporary card will include the card number, expiration date, and CVV details required to sign up for early access to Beyoncé tickets. This information is not available until the physical card is mailed. This can take up to 10 business days (note this accurately).
Of course, if you already have a Citi credit or debit card in your wallet, you don’t need to worry about this step.
When it’s time for the presale, go to Citi Entertainment and select your preferred date. Then go to his website on Ticketmaster to make your purchase. If Taylor Swift’s pre-sale of Capital One is any indication, ticket demand is likely to be very high, so it’s best to book early.
CardMatch allows you to see personalized credit card offers from Citi without impacting your credit score.
