On February 4, 2023, we hike with Boonie Stompers Inc to Cross Island. Special hiking conditions include sword grass, long and very steep slopes, walking in water, little shade and very long hikes.
Hikers start the 7-mile trek from Tarzan Falls and cross the islands to Lower Sigua Falls for jumps and scenic views.
Prepare for the hike with 4 quarts of water, electrolytes, hiking shoes, clothes that can get wet, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellent, lunch, and a camera.
Special conditions include swordgrass, long and very steep slopes, walking in water, little shade and very long hikes.
Parking lot locations are 13.419847, 144.746256 (on the side of the road in front of Leo’s Palace) and can be found on Apple or Google Maps.
Meet at 9:00 AM at the trailhead to join the hike.
The fee is $5 for hikers 17 and older. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and hikers must provide their own transportation.
