Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has permanently closed her UK Goop lifestyle shop after losing £1.4m in sales.
The wellness brand is best known for its scented candles This Smells Like My Vagina and This Smells Like My Orgasm.

Its store in Notting Hill, West London, was closed during the pandemic and has not reopened.
Gwyneth, now 50, has signed a form to deregister Goop Inc Ltd, which used to handle branded cash in the UK.
Goop’s main business is still valued at around £200 million and continues to trade at other international locations and online.
We continue to sell our products in shops in the United States, Canada and France.
Paltrow revealed that the geranium-, citrus-bergamot-, and cedar-scented candle was marketed as a “vagina scent,” but was originally a joke.
“This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP. However, it has evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautiful candle. Unexpected scent,” the product description says.
The company was founded in 2008 when Gwyneth, a mother of two, was married to Coldplay star Chris Martin, 45, and living in London.
The couple split in 2014.
