Landing Zones Canada, Shearwater Aerospace, and Lockheed Martin Canada CDL Systems today announced that Landing Zones Canada’s new unmanned aerial vehicle, Shearwater’s Smart FlightTM world-leading AI-powered Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) route planning and flight endurance announced a strategic collaboration to enhance technology, and next-generation VCSi ground control station software from Lockheed Martin Canada CDL Systems.
Shearwater’s Smart FlightTM software generates and dynamically adapts AI-optimized routes that utilize weather and terrain data in smarter ways. By finding tailwinds and updrafts, unmanned aerial systems can reach their destinations considerably faster and stay airborne much longer.
