Earn status with discounted reward stays
Marriott enables Members to earn Elite-Qualifying Nights with Reward Stays. Don’t forget to redeem your Marriott points for reward stays and get your 5th night free.
If you have accumulated Marriott points, you can redeem them for Elite qualifying nights. Here are some great stays that you can book with points to earn elite qualifying stays. There are also some discounts.
But remember, using your points will not get you anywhere near the $20,000 that qualify for Ambassador Elite status unless you charge eligible incidentals to your room.
Mattresses operate outside of major US cities
When searching for mattress runs, we recommend entering your home address in the “Destination” field on marriott.com. Marriott can show all hotels within a 50 mile radius and sort by price.
Here are the cheapest hotel options in points outside the four American cities.
Earn status with high-value redemption vacations
Marriott points are slightly depreciated in value, but you can use them to go on vacation and book rooms that are more expensive to pay with cash. Here are some high-value vacation redemptions you can book to increase your Marriott nights before the end of the year.
If you’re short on Marriott points, you can transfer additional points from Chase Ultimate Rewards and American Express Membership Rewards, but we generally don’t recommend it.
That said, if you convert your American Express Membership Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy points before October 31st, you’ll receive a 25% transfer bonus.
