Live Love Shop Rogers Park kicks off on Small Business Saturday with dozens of unique independent shops offering special deals and rebates to North Side shoppers.
Carolina Juarez of the Rogers Park Business Alliance said she’s thrilled to see people back to support local businesses.
“Days like Small Business Saturday are very important to help them compete with the Black Friday experience,” she said.
There is a small business welcome station for those who want to shop locally. Visitors will receive a free tote bag filled with prizes.
Also launched this year is the Live Love Shop Rogers Park rebate program, which can be redeemed simply by showing a receipt.
“If you provide us with receipts up to $150, we will give you $50 cash back, and if you spend over $200, we will give you $75 cash back,” Juarez said. say.
More than 24 companies will participate in the event, which takes place from 10am to 2pm near Morse Avenue near Clark Street.
There will be free coffee, crepes, hot chocolate giveaways, live music, and a holiday-themed 3D snow globe photo wall.
