Now, US-based manufacturer Mayman announces that its Nordic sales and marketing partner Savback Helicopters has signed a letter of intent for 25 Speeders aimed at supporting military customers in the Scandinavian region. Did.

Comparable in size to a quad bike, the speeder is designed and modeled to lift 1000 pounds in unmanned cargo mode and fly 400 miles at over 500 miles per hour. The company is currently working closely with the FAA for flight certification. The first test flight will be remotely operated and pilot testing is scheduled for the end of Q4 2023. Faster and more powerful than an electric drone or eVTOL, smaller and dramatically cheaper than a helicopter, and powered by regular zero net carbon or sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), the Speeder AUV defines a whole new class of aircraft. Modularly designed technology enables economies of scale in production with very short timelines.
