Insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh has announced the appointment of three new executives in Europe. Nilay Ozden has been appointed leader of the Marsh Specialty, Europe. Cristian Fugaciu and Artur Grzeskowiak have been appointed co-CEOs for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Based in London, Osden reports to Lucy Clarke, President, Marsh Specialties and Global Placements, and Christos Adamantiadis, CEO, Europe, who was recently appointed to this role.
In her new role, she will be responsible for delivering Marsh Specialties’ market-leading capabilities to clients across Europe, the company said.
Ozden joined Marsh, Turkey in 2001 and has held various senior positions for 22 years. Most recently, he was a leader in Continental Europe’s Financial and Professional Services (FINPRO) practice, where he served for 10 years.

According to the announcement, Fugaciu will continue to be CEO of Romania and head of CEE Central, while Grzeskowiak will be CEO of Poland and head of CEE North. They continue to be based in Bucharest and Warsaw and report to Adamantiadis.
Fugaciu had a 25-year career with Marsh and held several senior positions, including head of Marsh’s Romanian corporate business, before becoming CEO in 2002.
In 2013, we expanded our leadership responsibilities to include the Southern segment of the CEE region and the Central segment of the CEE region in 2018. Grzeskowiak began his career in 1997, working at a major brokerage firm before joining Marsh in 2016 as CEO of Poland. Most recently he has also been responsible for the northern segment of the CEE region.
