Creating content is difficult and mentally taxing for some. This is the sentiment expressed by the influencer on her social media.

Given the pressure content creators often feel, Pinterest announced a partnership with Headspace, an app that provides mental health resources, to give influencers free access to Headspace’s services.

The initiative coincides with World Mental Health Day and allows Pinterest creators to sign up for a free six-month subscription to Headspace. This includes access to guided meditations, breathing exercises, and even tips to improve your sleep habits.
“We wanted to inspire people doing the things that inspire them, and give them the tools and products to truly help them with their mental health and wellbeing,” says Ducard.

To be eligible to receive Headspace offers, you must:
- Publish at least 3 Pins per month in the last 3 months
- Publish original content that meets Pinterest’s Community Guidelines
- Save Pins published 20 times in the last 30 days
- Be located in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
To consider the mental health of creators and consumers, Pinterest has also introduced initiatives such as a ban on weight loss ads and ‘compassionate search’. This is a feature that redirects users who indicate they may be struggling with their searches to guided activities like gratitude and breathing exercises.
