Milford Care Center has announced details for the 11th Annual 10km Run/Walk. Significant fundraising event to support hospice services. The noon start time on Sunday, February 12th will be a day to remember. It will be a safe and enjoyable 10km, so we are looking forward to welcoming everyone at the start line and virtual while running and walking together again.
Kindly supported by DELL Technologies and Stryker, the event is open to runners and walkers of all levels and abilities, with proceeds going directly to support the work of Milford Care Center in the Midwest.
David Kilcoyne, Munster Rugby and Irish Rugby International recently launched the Milford Hospice annual 10km. Dave explained. “We are thrilled to support the Milford Care Center 10km Run/Walk this year and raise awareness. The work that the Care Center does is of great importance and value to the Midwest region, and we would appreciate it if you could help Milford to raise the necessary funds to run Milford Hospice.February 12 I look forward to meeting you one day.”
Milford Care Center CEO Mary O’Brien explains: “Milford Care Center would like to thank Dell & Stryker for their support in making this event a success. We look forward to joining you onsite in Limerick and from across Ireland and abroad.Despite the challenges of navigating Covid through 2022, Milford Care Center will continue to provide the highest quality care across all services. We have been able to maintain our commitment to that end, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have generously contributed so that we can continue to provide professional palliative care and geriatric services in the Midwest this year.
