Information and communications technology chief cabinet secretary candidate Eliud Owalo has publicly declared his assets.
Owalo told the National Assembly Review Board that he was worth KSh 645 million.

Responding to a question from commission chairman Moses Wetangula on Friday 21 October, Owalo said he owns several properties in Nairobi and the outback that make up his wealth.
“My net worth is 645 million KSh. My house in Nairobi is worth 120 million KSh and my suburban house is worth 70 million KSh. and owns four cars worth about KSh 15 million,’ said Owaro, as recorded by citizen tv.
The CS candidate has disclosed that he owns a hotel facility that is not fully completed and is estimated at 80 million KSh KSh.

He said the hotel will be worth KSh 293 billion when completed.
Tree planting business
Mr Owalo added that he has engaged in commercial plantations and added KSh 160 million in value.
“Based on the bill of quantities, it will be worth KSh 293 billion when completed.
“I have been focusing on commercial tree plantations. Right now, I estimate the value proposition to be worth KSh 160 million,” he said.
