The Student Union of Monmouth Memorial School will host the Stuff the Bus Community Food Drive for the Cottrell-Taylor Christmas Basket on Thursday, December 8th from 5-7pm. Last year, Monmouth schools worked with the community to collect nearly 4,000 items to feed many families over the holiday season.
The collection will be held at 1111 Main St., Monmouth. To ensure everyone is safe, everyone is asked to park at the entrance of the loop and drivers are asked to park to the drop off station and open the trunk of the vehicle. recover. Drivers and passengers are asked to remain in the vehicle.
Students and staff may provide peanut butter, crackers, canned vegetables and fruits, cake/cookie/brownie mixes, mac and cheese, canned spaghetti sauce, pasta, cereal, rice, granola or fruit bars, jelly or pudding mixes. Do not bring perishable, expired, broken or glass containers.
Donations will go to the Cottrell-Taylor Foundation Christmas Basket and additional food items will go to a local food pantry in Monmouth.
