Dr. Stefan Balling has been appointed as the new Co-Managing Director of König & Bauer Coding since the beginning of the year, forming the leadership duo with Steiss from Germany to lead the company. In this role, he follows in the footsteps of Oliver Voland, who passed away suddenly in April 2022.
An electrical engineering professional, Dr. Balling has extensive industry experience having held various management positions in the field of industrial coding since 2011. He joined Koenig & Bauer Coding in April 2016 and quickly became Vice President of Product Development. This authority was later extended to include assembly work. Over the last few years, Dr. Balling has been a driving force in the continuous optimization of production processes, demonstrating particular agility in employee leadership and development. Together with Oliver Volland, he undertook a number of important technical developments.
