SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – October 20, 2022 – Old Spanish Days of Santa Barbara is pleased to announce its Fiesta 2023 leadership team. El Primer Vice President Brian Schwabecher; El Segundo Vice President Fritz Orenberger; La Secretaria Stephanie Petlow; and El Tesorello Colin Hayward. The elected Division Chiefs are: Patricia Olenha, Division Chief, Dance & Entertainment. Angelic Davis Director of External Relations. Marketplace Division Chief Andrea Caplan; Section Head of Pageantry Tony Miller;

99 years nowth This year’s Fiesta is unique among festivals in that it is run by a board of volunteers and supported by one part-time staff. El Presidente presides over the board of directors and serves as the organization’s general manager. The Primer Vice Presidente is responsible for the overall operation of the organization, while the Segundo Vice Presidente is responsible for raising funds to continue the historic festival. Division Chief of Old Spanish Days at venues throughout the city. He oversees all Volunteer Committees that support official Fiesta events and activities.

Fiesta 2023 will take place from August 2nd to August 6th, 2023 in various locations around the city. First held in 1924, the Fiesta celebrates an era of romance and hospitality through pageantry, dance, music, costume and cuisine. Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the history, spirit, culture, heritage and traditions of Santa Barbara.
