If you’ve spent any amount of time on social media in the last three years, you’ve come across cookware brands. our placeFounded by Shiza Shahid in 2019, the direct-to-consumer brand has grown from its inception to now open its second Los Angeles retail location in West Hollywood. After the success of the Mythology-designed Venice location, Our Place became: apple studio To create a new store in Melrose that complements their design and spirit. In addition to visually pleasing product displays and a color palette that matches the popular hotpot colors, the space also features a Building-A-Bigger design that exudes a mission to “welcome everyone to be seated at the table.” There is a table room.
This store aims to be a one-stop shop where you can see branded cookware, tableware, and kitchen tools up close. Like a sculptural piece, each piece features a homely feel with curated product vignettes that highlight each piece.
The brand started with one product, Always Pan, but expanded the line to include the new Mini Always Pan, Perfect Pot, Mini Perfect Pot, Ovenware Set, Dinnerware, Drinkware, Serveware and Kitchen Tools.
Building a Bigger Table Room features curving lavender fabric panels that hang from the ceiling, mimicking the curves of a wavy dining table. The mirrored walls make the table seem to stretch out into infinity, so there’s plenty of space for everyone to sit.
