Signify has launched the brand’s first set of string lights, the Philips Hue Festavia, just in time for Christmas.
Philips Hue Festavia is in the form of a string of 250 LEDs 20 meters long that can be draped any way you like. For example, around a brutally felled tree in the corner of the living room.
As you can imagine, the color and brightness of these LEDs can be set from the Hue app. However, the Philips Hue Festavia has learned a few new tricks for the holiday season.
You can now apply a new Scattered style that applies 5 randomly chosen colors across the length of the string for a perfectly cheesy Christmas effect. You can also use the new Sparkle Mode to recreate the twinkling effect you get from traditional Christmas lights.
Naturally, the lights fit seamlessly into the existing Philips Hue ecosystem and can even sync with Spotify and Samsung SmartThings to flash along with cheesy celebratory music.
Philips Hue Festavia will be available on November 15th directly from the Philips Hue website for a price of £139.99/$159.99.
Visiting the aforementioned official website confirms that Philips Hue is once again involved in the impending Black Friday sale. Sign up to be notified as soon as branded deals drop.
Otherwise, bet the lowest dollar (or pound) you’ve saved and we’ll bring you all relevant Black Friday deals over the next week or so.
