The PIVOT Award was recently presented at the annual Commercial Real Estate Summit hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma Real Estate Program. These awards honor real estate professionals who have made the most significant advancements in the industry. PIVOT is awarded to lenders, developers, civil servants, architects, brokers and title professionals. We are blessed with many highly qualified professionals. Choosing just one for each category is a difficult task.
The PIVOT Award for Real Estate Lenders went to Amy Bailey. Amy is the managing director of CrossFirst Bank, specializing in commercial real estate. She helped fund her The Presley Apartments/Tower. The project was complex and layered, but it brought revival to the dilapidated area around Lincoln Boulevard.Congratulations Amy!
Richard Tanenbaum received the PIVOT Award in the Property Developer category. Dick is the principal owner and CEO of Gardner Tanenbaum. He is recognized as a leading developer noted for his ambitious repurposing, conversion and redevelopment of a series of dynamic projects for multi-family, aerospace, industrial and commercial developments. Thanks Dick!
Larry Hopper Sr. was elected civil servant. Larry was a Senior Planning Manager at OKC. He is widely known for his economic revitalization, city planning, transportation and traffic planning, with a focus on bus and rail strategies. The OKC metropolitan area will benefit from Larry’s work for generations to come. Thank you Larry!
Anthony McDermid, founder of TAP Architecture, is known for historic preservation and urban planning. Anthony specializes in sustainable design and inclusive planning, creating projects such as the Oklahoma Supreme Court, Core-to-Shore Masterplan, and Oklahoma State University’s Old He Central. He does so due to environmental impact and social responsibility considerations. Congratulations, Anthony!
The PIVOT Award was presented to Mr. Andrew Huang in the Real Estate Broker category. Andrew is the co-founder and managing partner of Adept Commercial. He has 11 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, brokerage and development real estate and has represented Riggs, Abney, Neal, Turpen, Orbinson and Lewis. Kudos, Andrew!
The PIVOT Award for Title Company Professional goes to Dawn Brooks, Commercial Escrow Manager, Chicago Title – Nichols Hills office. Dawn strives to provide the best customer service through timely communication, honesty and passion. Well done Dawn!
