WORCESTER — Four employees at Price Rite Marketplace on Gold Star Boulevard were recognized by the company for saving lives while on the job.
Clerk Roberto Diaz took action when a family noticed a child choking as they were leaving the store.
Diaz successfully secured the child’s airway.
Also on the phone recently in another incident at the supermarket were store associates Dennis Cobos and Donay Hunter, as well as producing manager Drew Delmastro.
Cobos used EMS training to help the customer while others waited with the person until emergency services arrived at the store at 117 Gold Star Blvd.
