Galaxy A54 5G brings a flagship-like design to the mid-range segment
One of the most exciting things about the upcoming Galaxy A54 is an exterior design that may not be shared with the Galaxy M54. According to early renders, the Galaxy A54 has a similar design language to the base Galaxy S23 model, with a few big exceptions that make these phones stand out by price. The Galaxy A54’s display bezels are predictably chunky. However, the camera housing design should be relatively similar to the flagship model.
Samsung has yet to reveal its plans to launch the Galaxy A54 in India, but the 2022 model launched in March, so the A54 will be a year later, or one month after the Galaxy S23 series launched Unpacked. It may be released later. Time will tell.
As for specs, judging by a recent entry in the Geekbench database, the Galaxy A54 could be powered by the new Exynos 1380 chipset. The Exynos 1380 is the successor to the 1280 model and features 4 high performance CPU cores running at a frequency of 2.4 GHz and 4 energy efficient cores running at 2 GHz. The CPU is paired with a Mali-G68 GPU.
