Dr Evelyn Ndlovu, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, said as the country moves towards becoming an upper-middle-income society by 2030, school principals must take competency-based curricula seriously for the benefit of learners. said.
Speaking at the Maranatha Christian High victory gala at the Heritage Village on Friday, Dr Ndrob said students should aim to be employers, not employees.
The celebration was held in honor of Hekima Inc, the school’s innovation team company. Hekima Inc won four Continental Awards last year in Nigeria for developing a unique and innovative learning application that can adapt to any environment.
The team is currently aiming for the De La Vega Good Global Entrepreneurship Award, and that competition will take place virtually next month.
Also known as the Studdy Buddie app, this learning application, which allows access to educational materials with just an Android device, fascinated Dr. Ndlovu.
Intrigued by the application, Dr. Ndlovu urged other schools to withdraw from the Maranatha Christian High School team as the world goes digital.

As the country faces another Covid-19 threat, Dr Ndlovu said the Studdy Buddie app will go a long way in alleviating lockdown-related challenges within the education sector.
“In the modern world, we all need to be tech savvy and embrace technology to manage our lives,” she said.
“This is one of the five pillars of the digital economy in NDS1 as MoPSE. Soon life will be robotics and education will be accessible at the push of a button on mobile phones, tablets and laptops.” I guess.”
Minister Ndlovu said he is looking forward to the global award-winning Maranatha team.

Ambassador Kwame Mzawazi, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of African Knowledge (Instak), which runs Hertiage Village, presented the Africa Factbook to the African champions.
