2. Confirm price adjustment

Palmer says if you’re looking for a clearance item, you should mark it with a red or yellow sticker.

“Check the number in the upper right corner of the price tag,” said Palmer. “If it says ’70’, it’s 70% off.”

5. Do you shop early or late for the holidays?
