The Tennessee government recently signed a number of MoUs with aerospace giants, and hopes to provide more opportunities for small businesses and large companies manufacturing aerospace parts in the West to grow their businesses.
The Government of Tamil Nadu is poised to provide more business to existing large and small aerospace component manufacturers in and around the Western District. A series of recent memorandums of understanding signed between the Tamil government and aerospace giants including Rolls-Royce is expected to give the companies in Salem, Tirupur and Coimbatore a boost.
So far, a number of aerospace companies from the US, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan have signed MoUs with the Tamil Nadu (TN) government.
“Many SMEs and large companies in Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem and Krishnagiri districts are now manufacturing parts for various aerospace manufacturers in India and abroad without government support. The government is going to support them in a big way,” the Tennessee government said. Commonwealth.

Hosur’s Rolls-Royce unit
International Aerospace Manufacturing Pvt Ltd (IAMPL), a joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, has signed a MoU with the Tennessee government to support the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tennessee.
IAMPL has announced its intention to expand operations in Tennessee to support the global supply chain of aerospace components. The proposed expansion aims to enhance IAMPL’s existing capabilities in India to manufacture complex components for the global supply chain of civil and defense aero engines.
“Over the past decade, our joint venture with HAL has grown and developed superior capabilities across manufacturing, engineering, quality and customer service. We will continue to provide high-quality products with precision.”

TN signs successive MoUs
TN has so far signed MoUs with companies from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, France and Germany. “Apart from the above, he has signed MoUs with the Netherlands, Canada and Denmark. All MoUs signed by the three countries are for launching renewable power projects within Tennessee.”
