India is now home to a record number of wealthy people, eventually 142 billionaires, who donate record amounts of money to charity.

Gautam Adani had a great year and became the second richest person in the world. On his 60th birthday, Adani pledged his staggering Rs. He gave 60,000 kroner to charity. 8. Anil Agarwal, Vedanta

AM Naik started as an engineer at Larsen and Turbo with a salary of just Rs. 760, but rose through the ranks to become chairman. Naik ranks him 10th on the list of most charitable Indians who have donated Rs. Last year, he gave 142 million to charity.
