If you’re chronically living online like I am, you may have come across the “hard water” discourse. not good. To be honest, I didn’t care much about it.
Water with minerals and contaminants such as chlorine and heavy metals seemed normal to me. So it’s water. Needless to say, New York City residents are very lucky to benefit from some of the best quality tap water in the country. I immediately felt my subconscious taking an interest in what I was showering with.
After hearing that polluted water can have a detrimental effect on the natural oils that protect your hair and skin, causing irritation and even causing hair loss, especially if you travel abroad, I took this seriously. And water sources aren’t the only things that can cause pollution. In older buildings, pipe buildup and rust can affect shower water quality.
When I came across Jolie’s Filtered Showerhead through work via a PR pitch in my inbox, I figured I should give it a try. Retailing at $148, the shower head comes in a neat package. This package includes the device and the necessary tools (tape, wrench, etc.) for installation. The procedure was very easy. Twist off the old shower head, tape around the pipes, and screw on Jolie. After doing this, in less than 10 minutes, I felt like a STEM woman.
Well, I’m no water expert. At first, I didn’t think I’d realize how important it was. But oops, I was wrong.
I’ve been using the Jolly Shower Head for about a month now and I solemnly swear I’m only telling the truth. Never before. My skin, which is usually painfully dry and very ash, seems to be holding on to more moisture than before. , this is a game changer.
I also have curly hair that is naturally on the dry side.Like my skin, it’s a completely different beast now.Even before applying the usual post-wash product lineup, the frizz is gone.
