San Jose, California, October 19, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX) today announced the launch of two of its sites, Tczew and Poland Perabhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Malaysia, received the Manufacturing Excellence Awards from the Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME). The Manufacturing Excellence Award recognizes organizations that have implemented a lean systems model for manufacturing excellence. As the only manufacturer to win an award at this year’s annual AME conference, Dallas, Texas, the Flex site demonstrated a culture of continuous improvement and lean innovation across the enterprise. The award focuses on organizational improvement, management systems, people-centered leadership, safety, enhanced value stream management, and performance.
