Wendy Williams had a big smile on her face as she sat in her iconic purple chair that has been on The Wendy Williams Show for over 12 years.
The 58-year-old star took to Instagram on Thursday to tell fans to “stay tuned” to her upcoming podcast, “The Wendy Experience,” adding, “About last night… Team WENDY!”
Williams kept it casual with black leggings, a sweatshirt emblazoned with the podcast logo, and fuzzy boots, and the management team even joined in one of the photos.
Fans were quick to comment on how happy and healthy the eponymous talk show host looked after spending two months in rehab. I urged him not to bathe.
“Nice to meet you in the purple chair ❤️,” one fan commented.
“You look great Wendy! We are waiting for your return! Let’s go! How are you!?
“We love you. Your health and well-being are our top priority.” 🌺💘”
Williams, who has battled addiction for years, checked into a treatment facility in September after his health deteriorated sharply following an alcohol relapse.
She was released almost two months later, with new publicist Sean Zanotti telling Page Six:
Through Zanotti, Williams said, “Thank you to all my fans for their love, support and many prayers. I am back and better than ever.”
