Willie the German needs a purple bottle found only in the UK to complete the collection

Some like trains, some like stamps, but for Alexander Smoljanovic, trash cans are everything.

You could say he’s a big Willie fan.

The German has over 100 full-size trash cans in his garden, but the collection he really wants is only available in the UK.

Alexander wanted a rare purple Slo 240-liter bottle, so he contacted a local newspaper in Buckinghamshire, where his passion was born 15 years ago when he lived there.

He told Bucks Free Press: Almost all colors are available. The most valuable colors are purple, gold, silver and transparent.

“Every time I look for a dedicated trash can, I contact my local newspaper.

Avid collectors are ready to offer money to get the desired trash cans, but people often donate them for free.

“People are amazed and fascinated by my hobbies,” he said. “Many brands and models have been lost over the last 20 years.

That’s why we collect special old things to save history. Some tell me: “Now I’m thinking of my wheeled bin from a different angle.”

There are several purple Sulo bottles in circulation.

The 2010 one is lighter and the 2002 one is a darker purple, which Alexander describes as “beautiful.”
