- Presale tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour will go on sale for Capital One cardholders on November 15, 2022.

- If you don’t have a Capital One credit card, it’s not too late to open one in time for the presale — but you’ll have to act quickly.

Taylor Swift announced the US leg of her Eras Tour this week, and as one of the most highly anticipated tours of 2023, it’s likely that tickets will sell out fast.
If you’re a Swiftie (or the parent of one, as I am) you may have already started looking into presale tickets for Taylor Swift’s tour. One way of getting presale access is by signing up for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan presale, which is open for registration now — but there’s no guarantee you’ll be approved for an early shot at tickets.
The other method is far more simple: If you have a Capital One credit card or debit card, you’re eligible for Taylor Swift presale tickets. Cardholders will get access to Capital One’s Taylor Swift presale on November 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. local venue time. That’s just a few hours after Ticketmaster Verified Fans get access, and is nearly a full three days before the general public can buy tickets (on November 18 at 10 a.m. local venue time).
It’s not too late to apply for a Capital One credit card before tickets go on sale. In fact, Taylor Swift fans have been rushing to open Capital One cards since the tour was announced. But you’ll want to act fast — it can take up to 10 business days for a new Capital One card to come in the mail, and if your card doesn’t arrive in time for the presale on November 15, you’ll be out of luck.

Other things to know about Capital One’s Taylor Swift ticket presale
There are a few other things to keep in mind if you’re planning to get in on Capital One’s presale for Taylor Swift tickets:
- You’ll need to use your Capital One card to pay for the tickets, so be sure to have it handy the day of the sale — if you’re using someone else’s card, be sure to have the correct card number, security code, billing address associated with the card, name as it appears on the card, and expiration date.
- Capital One cardholder presale tickets will be available on November 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. local time of the venue until November 17, 2022, at 10 p.m. local time of the venue (or until they are sold out).
- Capital One’s terms say: “The Capital One Cardholder Presale is for existing Capital One cardholders. New applicants that have recently applied and have yet to receive card information are not eligible if a new card is received post the Cardholder Pre-sale window or after presale tickets have sold out.” This means you’ll need to apply very soon to have your card in hand before the presale starts.
- Getting tickets isn’t guaranteed, since these shows will likely sell out super fast. However, you’ll have the best shot at getting seats if you log in at the beginning of the Capital One cardholder presale window since tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
