The man’s father, who has been missing for more than a week, said, “I want you to come back safely. I’m not in any trouble.”
Nathan Cole, 32, was last seen walking along Banbury Road in Walthamstow, east London, at 11:27pm on Saturday 21st January.
Police believe he was due to attend a gig in Camden that evening, but may have decided to visit a friend instead.
His phone was last active at 12:41 AM and since then there has been no activity from his bank account.
Cole’s family, who once lived near the Walthamstow area, said his disappearance was “very bizarre” after seeking information outside New Scotland Yard.
His father, Eamon Cole, said:
“It’s not uncommon for him to go out at night, but it’s unprecedented that he’s been missing for so long.
“We all love him so much. He is loved by so many. We need him to come home.”
His brother Luke Cole said: We are very close and have always spent a lot of time together.
“He was a very sociable person, even outside of his family. was a selfless person.
“For those of you who have siblings, please be careful. This is very hard for us. We have now lost one of our five.”
His sister Hannah Cole said:
“Nathan does not do this. We looked at his social media, texts, phone calls, and his last transactions to do our own research. He is always active in our WhatsApp group. Something happened to him.
“Anyone who was in the Tottenham or Walthamstow area on 21st January is urged to think carefully whether they have seen anything suspicious and to call the police if they remember anything unusual. .”
Central West BCU Public Protection Officer Angela Craggs said:
“He was a white male about 5’10”. He wore small Leonard-style round glasses, a gray trench coat, dark pants, Dr. Martens shoes and a red scarf.
“We know that Nathan knows the Walthamstow area very well and probably still has some friends in the area. I hope that.”
